Hylo
hylo.com ↗A group coordination platform with discussions, events, offers and requests, projects and proposals, built by Terran Collective.
For local and purpose-driven groups looking for a Facebook Groups replacement.
Why it’s listed
the full platform is free for every group1, the code is open source2, and it promises 'No ads, no algorithm' and 'No tracking, no selling, no surveillance'3.
The trade-off
It's small and young, and we couldn't confirm where it's based or who funds the core team. Your family chat probably stays where it is.
Price
Free; paid products for groups that need more capacity1.
