Why it’s listed

it's nonprofit and funded by NLnet and donations1, open source under AGPL, federates over ActivityPub, and Framasoft's own server loads no ad or tracking scripts (our check, 13 October 2026).

The trade-off

A small volunteer association keeps it going. Pick a server near you, or ask a local group to host one.
