Films & Talks

Documentaries and talks on fashion, climate, animals, money and humane technology, from Ron Fricke’s wordless Baraka (1992) to talks by Ellen MacArthur and Thich Nhat Hanh. For documentaries about sustainability and fairness, we look for films that still hold up, linked to the makers’ own pages where we can.

Two to start with: The True Cost, Andrew Morgan’s 2015 film on the people and places that pay for cheap fashion. And Chasing Ice, James Balog’s time-lapse record of melting glaciers, from the director of The Social Dilemma. Both are paid to rent or buy; most of the talks are free to watch.
